• 3:00 PM: Building Dedication Program/Ceremony in the Sanctuary.

• Fun will continue until 5:00 PM.

Hi ladies!

This Fall we are hosting a 6 week women’s class on sex in a Christian marriage! We will be using a book and video class called Awaken Love. This is a topic that is sometimes kept “under the covers” 😉 and hasn’t been candidly and openly discussed in Christian circles; so this may seem crazy or outside of your comfort zone, but I still hope you will join us for this journey together!

The book is based on God’s word and talks about building stronger marriages, but also enforces the importance of having an intimate relationship with Christ.

The goal of this class and discussions is to discover God’s design for intimacy – with our husband and with Him. Surrounded by a small, safe group of women, we explore God’s design for intimacy based on His Word and learn what it means to be both Godly and sensuous.

We will meet monthly on Saturday evenings at 5p-7p. We will have “girl dinner” together beforehand- bring snacks/apps to share!

Each session we will watch a video and have large group discussion followed by smaller group discussions (3-4 women of your choosing).

Several chapters of reading are assigned before each session, so you will need to purchase the book. You will also need to register and pay for the video portion of the class (it’s $20, we will send link when we get closer to first session).

We are excited about this time to learn, laugh, cry, grow, be vulnerable and talk openly about intimacy with the Lord and our husbands! Please pray about joining us. Everyone, including single ladies, is invited.

PS- The most common question we’ve had so far is “Exactly how intimate are we sharing here, specifically about our husbands??” The answer is “As much as you want!” You will have a smaller group of your hand picked friends to go as nitty gritty as you want, but honestly, while this book and class do include learning about our bodies (fair warning: there’s a diagram!), the majority is about educating ourselves on God’s design for sex and intimacy. What details of that journey you want to share will be up to you! 🩷
