A Building, A Home For Gospel Ministry

The Lord God Almighty has blessed the ministry of Manhattan Pres since we began in the Durrett’s living room in the Fall of 2013. Today, through the generosity of wonderful donor and all who are part of this covenant community we hope to move into a new era of Gospel Ministry. God willing, in the first half of 2019 The Disciples of Christ will head west to their new location and we’ll be able to make some exciting changes to better minister to this city God has called us to make disciples in. Below you’ll learn about this building and how we envision it being used for the Kingdom of God.

Tax Value: $1.25 Million

Lot: 15,000 SqFt
Building: 16,165 SqFt

Cost Per Foot: $8 based on 1.3 million asking price.
New construction is around $175 per square foot of basic materials

Time & Programming ChangeS

We currently gather at 9:00am, this would allow us to select a later start time for Worship each week better fitting the rhythm of Manhattan.

The sanctuary has incredible potential, the stained glass is beautiful, it seats around 230 and by adding in two previously removed rows of pews even more. If we are able to possess the building we would love to remove the clutter on the “stage” area and improve the ascetics to better set the tone for worshipping the Lord God almighty.
