Plans For This Sunday (3.29.20) UPDATE!

Peeps,
We're learning to shepherd amidst this new challenge, please continue to pray for us.

We’ve suspended our plans to meet in person this week, and most likely the next couple of Sundays, however we are going to meet together online using Zoom (go download the app if you haven’t yet, you do not need an account). Log on at 10am, get a bulletin here, or from the Manhattanpres.com homepage and we’ll go through the liturgy together. We’ll pray along with the pastoral prayer, confess our sins, remind ourselves of our hope in life and death, and sit under the preaching of the Word (Brian preached it to empty room Saturday afternoon). At the end we’ll divide into groups of 3 or 4 and check in and pray with those in your group. Yes, online, zoom has way to randomly divide us into smaller groups for a set time. We highly encourage you to partake in this together as a family.

This decision was not made lightly. We’re doing this for the good of getting together and seeking the Lord together, but it’s not corporate worship in the true sense of the term and we won’t try to replicate it with music and such. For now we are thankful to the Lord for technology that gives us some connection and will simply long to gather in one place, as one body, and lift our unified voices in worship to the Lord again.

Please continue to pray for each other, for our city, our state, our nation and the whole earth as so much of normal life is brought to a halt. We look forward to, God willing, seeing you online Sunday morning.

 In Him,
Tim, Travis and Brian
